Rooted in Community, Built for Fun!

Did you know the Cedar Creek Township Community Park started with a generous dream? Back in 1999, local residents Ruth and Wes Lomax donated this beautiful piece of land to the township with a clear vision: creating a dedicated space for youth softball. Thanks to their generosity, that dream became a reality during the 2001-2002 season. Today, those same fields are where local kids make memories, practice teamwork, and enjoy the great outdoors. Come out this weekend, catch a game, or just enjoy the fresh air!

Planning a birthday bash, family reunion, or a post-game team pizza party? You can host your next get-together right here at the park! The community pavilion is the perfect shady spot for celebrations, and reserving it is incredibly easy. Just reach out to the Cedar Creek Township Offices to check availability and lock in your date.

Take a look at our community from a whole new angle! Our drone tour kicks off over the basketball court, where you can always find a pickup game or space to practice your jump shot. From there, we sweep over our beautifully maintained youth softball fields, the historic heart of the park. Next, you’ll spot our scenic pavillion, a perfect shaded retreat for an afternoon rest or a family photo. Finally, the camera follows our winding walking path, framed by beautiful trees—ideal for a peaceful morning stroll or an evening jog. Everything you need for a perfect day outside is right here!
